This Endless Search

A mind, a soul, a heart unknown,
Unfathomed depths with searching eyes,
A search once small, a search now grown;
A soul in thrall, a soul to own.
Unending noise, routines worn thin,
Find storm outside and storm within,
Let go the past, let in the dream,
The soul to dare and course upstream,
And cross the lines of day and night,
The could, the should, the may and might,
To search the depths, to grasp the art,
Her eyes, her soul, her mind, her heart.
